Job Summary:

The Operations Specialist/Administrative Assistant – Estate Planning at Mercer Advisors and provides daily, ongoing operational and administrative support for the Estate Planning Group within Wealth Solutions. This includes tasks related to client onboarding and scheduling of meetings, as well as processing outgoing and incoming estate plans (i.e. assembling and scanning estate plan binders, preparing tracking slips, etc.). This role may also perform a wide range of support activities to facilitate clients through the estate planning process. Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills are a must.

Essential Job Functions for the FWS Administrator will include:

  • Coordinating referrals to the estate planning group from internal advisors.
  • Assisting with managing client intake process for estate planning team including creation of folders, inputting initial data into CRM and ensuring all data is accurate and complete.
  • Coordinating scheduling of initial client estate planning meetings.
  • Shipping, scanning, and assembling estate plans and other related documents.
  • Preparing materials for client meetings.
  • Training of new staff, including preparing training resources, training on systems and processes, as well as ongoing support for any questions related to day-to-day systems and processes.
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects.
  • Other duties as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Outstanding work ethic with a self-starter attitude
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure, by prioritizing and multi-tasking in a busy environment
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook
  • Able to maintain confidentiality with all matters
  • Have a “can-do” positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team
  • Eager to become an expert in the position

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Working Conditions: Professional office environment, daytime hours, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a workstation, no heavy lifting over 10 lbs.

Actual base pay within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills and licenses/certifications. This position is also eligible to earn incentive compensation through one of Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs.

$49,292.03$57,990.62 USD
