The Manager, HR Analytics & Insights leads a team responsible for delivering workforce analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights to HR and business leaders. This role supports strategic decision-making, workforce planning, and operational improvement by transforming complex data into actionable insights. The position also plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, supporting HR systems initiatives, and aligning analytics efforts with enterprise priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads a team responsible for workforce analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights for HR and business leaders.
• Transforms complex workforce data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
• Serves as a key advisor and thought partner to HR and business leaders on workforce analytics and insights.
• Maintains data integrity and ensures alignment with enterprise priorities across HR analytics initiatives.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and senior leadership to support organizational priorities.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
• Directly manages and develops a team of HR analytics professionals.
• Provides coaching, feedback, and performance management to build team capability and engagement.
• Partners with the Director to set clear priorities and allocate resources effectively.
• Ensures timely delivery of high-quality analytics support and reporting.
• Cultivates a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
ANALYTICS STRATEGY & BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
• Partners with HR and business leaders to define key performance indicators that support workforce strategy and talent initiatives.
• Develops and maintains scalable dashboards, reports, and scorecards that support data-driven decision-making.
• Presents analytical findings to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner.
• Translates complex workforce data into strategic insights and recommendations.
SYSTEM & DATA INTEGRATION SUPPORT
• Extracts, synthesizes, and interprets data from PeopleSoft, iCIMS, and other enterprise HR platforms.
• Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely reporting across HR functions such as talent acquisition, learning, retention, headcount, and turnover.
• Supports HR system enhancement projects in partnership with IT teams.
DATA GOVERNANCE & INTEGRITY
• Develops and maintains strong data governance practices including auditing, validation, and adherence to security protocols.
• Oversees and enhances the HR data glossary, reporting catalog, and process documentation.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
• Collaborates with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT to align data and reporting strategies with organizational priorities.
• Leads analytics workstreams for organizational changes including mergers and acquisitions.
• Ensures HR data and processes are integrated effectively during organizational transitions.
• Supports training and change management initiatives to promote data literacy and adoption of analytics tools.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Travel required: Less than 10% of the time.
• Work type: Hybrid role, splitting time between remote work and in-office work.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, I/O Psychology, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Six (6) or more years of progressive HR analytics or HR systems experience.
• Two (2) or more years of people management experience leading analytics or data-focused teams.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, data modeling, and advanced formulas.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a consultative and business-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive HR and employee data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, I/O Psychology, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Ten (10) or more years of related experience with at least five (5) years in a management role preferred.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, or Oracle HCM preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium Max 25lbs): up to 25 lbs., 0-33% of the work day (occasionally) Lifting 25 lbs. max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs.; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

Environmental exposures include but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure, Bio-hazardous waste chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors, Communicable diseases, Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
