Work Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

On-site presence required Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Monday and Wednesday are remote, however, you must be willing to work on-site on these days pending business needs.

Description

  • Supports, analyzes, evaluates, and monitors the administration of the organization's compensation programs to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Reviews related policies, procedures, and programs, while assisting in educating employees and manager level employees in their application of such practices
  • Conducts market analyses and recommends market adjustments for specific jobs by compiling market data and calculating market variances to maintain the competitive status of the organization's compensation program
  • Actively participates in developing and achieving departmental objects and goals
  • Builds relationships with internal client groups and liaises with Human Resources business partners (HR BP) to deliver consistent and high-quality customer service
  • Compensation Administration
    • Determine salary quotes for new hires, promotions, demotions, and transfers using established methodologies
    • Process wage and salary changes related to performance, market adjustments, or job reclassification
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of compensation transactions and evaluation forms
  • Education & Communication
    • Assist in educating employees and managers on compensation programs, policies, and philosophy
    • Collaborate with HRBPs to support job description creation, equity reviews, and salary-related concerns
  • Market Analysis & Research
    • Conduct market pricing for specific jobs and recommend market adjustments to ensure competitive pay practices
    • Participate in salary surveys, complete survey submissions, and research supplementary market data sources
  • Program Support & Process Improvement
    • Support the administration of annual performance management, salary increase, and incentive programs
    • Assist senior team members in enhancing compensation processes for greater efficiency and alignment with business needs
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Customer Service
    • Build relationships with internal client groups and HR Business Partners to support business lines effectively
    • Deliver consistent and responsive customer service in all compensation-related inquiries
  • Professional Development
    • Maintain knowledge of trends and best practices by participating in educational opportunities, professional organizations, and peer networking
    • Handle routine issues independently and escalate more complex problems to senior staff as needed
  • Travel: Less than 10% of the time may be required
  • Work Type: Hybrid employee - splits time between working remotely and working in the office

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of professional human resources experience, preferably in healthcare, preferred. Previous compensation administration strongly preferred
  • Education: A bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, health education or related field
  • Performs work under direct supervision
  • Must demonstrate strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Prior to any offer extended, an excel proficiency test will be required
  • Knowledge in PeopleSoft, Workday or Oracle preferred
  • Ability to work to work as a team
