Description

  • The Director of Integrated Solutions is part of the Digital Financial Informatics team with a primary focus on financial health for the Organization.
  • The Director will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals to perform comprehensive workflow audits and optimizations, develop proactive technical solutions, and facilitate iterative health summits aimed at improving and sustaining financial health.
  • This role will work collaboratively with Emory's Financial Planning and Analysis and Digital Informatics and Application partners to evaluate incoming initiatives for financial impact and inform project intake and priority.
  • Additionally, this role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of operational and digital cross-collaboration, and the ability to design current versus future state processes.
  • The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in identifying and aligning measures that drive performance and financial improvement across the organization.
  • Workflow Audit & Optimization
    • Conduct thorough assessments of existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce waste, enhance productivity, and promote financial strength
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of optimized workflows aimed at improving and sustaining financial health
  • Service Line Agreement
    • Develop and implement - secret shopping - programs executed within the Departments to proactively assess both internal and external customer experience and service delivery from a financial perspective
    • Analyze findings to offer insights for enhancing customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial management
  • Proactive Solution Development
    • Develop proactive solutions and offerings to address identified and/or potential workflow challenges, leveraging automation and technology where possible
    • Work closely with Finance, Operational Stakeholders, and Digital teams to pilot and implement and monitor new solutions
    • Keep up with new trends and technologies to improve our services
  • Identification & Alignment of Measures
    • Routinely collaborate across Digital Financial Informatics and Financial Planning and Analysis teams to align financial measures with organizational goals
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of Digital contributions and the overall success of the Organization as tests of change are introduced and sustained
    • Collaborate with Financial Informatics and Digital colleagues to regularly update senior leadership on progress and performance
  • Facilitate Iterative Health Summits
    • Organize and lead health summits to review progress, discuss challenges, and plan future initiatives aimed at operational excellence and financial health
    • Engage stakeholders from various departments to foster collaboration and establish accountability
    • Ensure health summits are data driven and outcome-focused in support of continuous improvement
  • Cross-Collaboration
    • In close partnership with Financial Planning & Analysis, foster routine collaboration between digital teams and operational departments to ensure cohesive strategies and implementations in direct support financial health
    • Foster a culture of innovation, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement across the Organization
    • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive business and financial performance and growth
  • Current vs Future State Design
    • Analyze current state processes and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
    • Design future state processes that align with organizational goals and that contribute to the Organizations financial strength
    • Create detailed roadmaps and implementation plans to transition from current to future state

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in appropriate field
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant IT experience required
  • Experience with digital tools and technologies that support process optimization
