Description

  • The WHSC Office of Well-Being (EmWELL) Program Manager will be a highly organized and reliable person, willing to synthesize information rapidly while feeling comfortable adding their own perspectives to decisions being made by the Director and Chief Well-being Officer.
  • They will manage, develop and coordinate outreach and EmWELL programming.
  • Regularly review year to date expenditures; and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Track budget against business plan and ensure compliance with fiscal constraints.
  • Partner with leadership team to develop departmental short and long term goals and objectives.
  • Analyze departmental strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and constraints.
  • Meet with other staff members to discuss progress and to develop future courses of action.
  • Develop and execute on programs and projects; analyze business objectives according to business plan.
  • Work with leadership team to formulate plan for professional development.
  • Attend educational in-services across a variety of Emory sites.
  • Participate in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.
  • Collect, organize, analyze data and generate and provide accurate and complete reports that track program's growth and improvement for management and/or regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and facilitate effective meetings as necessary.

Other related responsibilities and duties to include:

  • Management and evaluation of multiple meetings per month
  • Offer administrative assistance support to Dir. of Special Projects EmWELL
  • Management and evaluation of emBRACE peer support program Coordination and management of meals, events, and EmWELL related gathers as assigned by EmWELL leaders.
  • Management and evaluation of recognition practices and celebrations to support the EmWELL organizational structure, as well as other WHSC team members
  • Availability and willingness to dedicate specific amounts of time to Sprint projects as requested by other leaders within the WHSC for example, partnering with a physician group to establish a local well- being taskforce or committee
  • Support to maintain active shared files via Teams, Sharepoint, and other applications
  • Daily monitoring of emWELL email inbox and ability to escalate time-sensitive matters appropriately and swiftly
  • Management and evaluation of new initiatives or projects devised by EmWELL

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachler's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Previous management background including envisioning and coordinating successful programs, with 3-5 years preferred.
  • Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a willingness to remain flexible in changing academic and healthcare delivery landscapes.

WORK LOCATION: This role will be a hybrid role. Frequent transportation to various operating units and project event sites will be required.
