ChristianaCare's Primary Care at Whitehall is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to deliver high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care. This role is responsible for achieving optimal patient outcomes through both independent practice and collaborative teamwork within the clinical setting. The Registered Nurse II will apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, contributing as a trusted and integral member of the healthcare team.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Fridays: 8am to 4:30pm

  • No weekends

Duties / Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse II, this role will provide age-appropriate, patient-centered care OB and GYN in both virtual and in-person settings, using strong clinical knowledge to assess and address patient needs. This role includes delivering services such as care management, in person nurse visits and triaging patients, while collaborating closely with providers to support examinations, procedures, and efficient clinic operations.

As a Registered Nurse II, will serve as a key liaison among patients, providers, and staff, ensuring clear communication, coordinating workflow, and responding to urgent situations. Will also support staff development through training and mentorship, participates in quality and compliance initiatives, and contributes to process improvement efforts—all while maintaining a strong focus on safety, patient education, and high-quality care delivery.

Education Requirements:

  • A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.

  • Registered Nurse licensure or eligible for licensure in the state Delaware, Maryland or Pennsylvania & New Jersey depending on location of employment.

  • Two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, physician office experience is preferred.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) will be considered with an agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Hourly Pay Range: $38.22 - $61.16This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
