ChristianaCare is hiring a Customer Service Representative III for our Ophthalmology Department in Wilmington, DE.
At ChristianaCare, our Ophthalmology team provides comprehensive, high-quality eye care across Delaware, delivering everything from routine exams to advanced surgical treatments. Our fellowship-trained, board-certified specialists use the latest technology and a personalized approach to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, corneal disorders, and other complex ocular conditions—ensuring each patient receives tailored care and the best possible outcomes.
As a Customer Service Representative III, you would serve as the first point of contact for patients, delivering exceptional customer service while managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, addressing inquiries, and documenting interactions.

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Duties / Responsibilities:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1-2 years of customer service or call center experience preferred
Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes
Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with EMR/practice management systems
