We are seeking a clinically experienced, systems-focused Registered Nurse leader to serve as our Lead Quality, Safety & Regulatory Analyst supporting the Cancer Service Line.

This is a high-visibility, enterprise-impact role designed for a professional who thrives in influence-based leadership—driving outcomes across multiple oncology programs without direct reports, but with significant responsibility for program oversight, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement.

You will partner closely with physician leadership and interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across all oncology sites.

What You’ll Do:

Drive Quality, Safety & Regulatory Excellence

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in quality, patient safety, patient experience, and regulatory compliance across the Cancer Service Line

  • Promote a high-reliability culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence

Lead Accreditation & Continuous Readiness

  • Coordinate and lead readiness efforts for Joint Commission, Commission on Cancer (CoC), QOPI, ASTRO, FDA, and state regulatory standards

  • Oversee policy development, audits, corrective actions, and site visit preparation

  • Ensure sustained compliance through proactive monitoring and interdisciplinary collaboration

Advance Oncology Quality Programs

  • Support CoC standards and committee work, including reporting, competencies, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Partner with physician leaders to advance evidence-based oncology practices

Elevate Patient Experience

  • Analyze and translate Press Ganey and related data into actionable insights

  • Lead development and tracking of department-level improvement plans

  • Co-lead Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) initiatives

Lead Patient Safety & Event Review

  • Oversee event review processes including CCERT, CANDOR, and Root Cause Analyses

  • Ensure timely investigation, follow-up, and communication of lessons learned

  • Drive system-level improvements based on safety trends

Oversee Medication & Chemotherapy Safety

  • Partner with Pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure safe medication practices

  • Monitor infusion pump compliance, chemotherapy governance, and medication handling standards

Influence Through Collaboration

  • Serve on and/or lead key committees (e.g., Medication Safety, P&T, Falls, Chemotherapy Safety)

  • Translate system-level decisions into operational practice across oncology settings

Leverage Data to Drive Decisions

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and safety data

  • Identify trends, mitigate risks, and guide performance improvement initiatives

Educate & Engage

  • Provide education and consultation to leaders and caregivers

  • Promote best practices through targeted communication, huddles, and training

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or compact state

  • Master’s degree in nursing or related healthcare field (BSN or MSN required)

  • Minimum 3+ years of oncology experience in a leadership or management capacity

  • ONS Certification

Preferred

  • Experience with oncology accreditation programs (CoC, QOPI, ASTRO)

  • Strong background in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient safety
