ChristianaCare is seeking a Supervisor for their Surgical Department Call Center at our Avenue North location in Wilmington, DE.

The Administrative Supervisor provides high‑level administrative and operational support to clinical and administrative leadership across multiple surgical practices. This role serves as a key liaison, ensuring smooth daily operations, effective communication, and strong coordination across teams while exercising discretion, judgment, and proactive problem‑solving.

This position also will oversee daily operations of the Acute Surgical Services call center, including staff productivity, quality assurance, and training; the ideal candidate will bring prior people‑leadership experience, preferably within a call center or similar operational environment.

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Administrative Supervisor provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to Acute Surgical Services leadership, proactively anticipating needs and ensuring efficient daily operations across multiple practices. The Supervisor serves as a key liaison between clinic leadership, internal departments, providers, and external partners; supports recruiting, onboarding, and training efforts; coordinates confidential and time‑sensitive activities; and leads communication initiatives on behalf of leadership. This position also partners with Site Managers on staffing, scheduling, performance improvement initiatives, and special projects, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.


Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a business college program in Office Administration, Secretarial Science, or related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Five years’ experience supporting senior level executives.

  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted

Annual Compensation Range $63,107.20 - $100,984.00This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
