ChristianaCare’s Addiction Medicine Department is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician to provide thorough and accurate assessments for patients requiring Addiction Medicine consultation across our Wilmington and Newark campuses.

- Join a team committed to providing state of the art treatment for substance use disorders (SUD). Our Addiction Medicine Consult Service is one of few in the country. The goal is to manage patient’s opioid withdrawal during their medical admission which often includes catastrophic illness.
- The service aggressively manages opioid withdrawal in the acute care inpatient setting, then transitions patients to medication for opioid use disorder, and together with Project Engage, facilitates transition to substance use disorder care after discharge.

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8am – 4:30pm, with on call responsibilities

Position Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Adult-Geriatric Acute Care or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program with certification by ANCC or AANP
- Graduate from an accredited Physicians Assistants program with NCCPA certification
- Minimum of one to three years of experience working in addiction medicine
- License or license eligible in the state of Delaware
- Prescriptive Authority, DEA registration, BLS Required
Annual Compensation Range $122,114.00 - $157,121.00This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
