ChristianaCare is currently seeking a Full-Time Service Assistant I to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you’ll help ensure the safe and timely transport of patients throughout our hospital — making a meaningful difference in their care journey.

🕒 Schedule:

• 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Requires working every other weekend
• Includes holiday rotation

• Safely transport patients via stretcher, wheelchair, bed, or specialized vehicle
• Respond to transport and equipment requests from dispatchers and clinical staff
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals with empathy and professionalism

✅ What You Bring:

• 2+ years of customer service experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must obtain BLS certification upon hire
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, walking, lifting, pushing/pulling)
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and infection control

Hourly Pay Range: $17.32 - $21.34This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
