Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - 4A Medical Unit
Day Shift (Hours: 7a-7p) Holidays and Weekends - per the department guidelines.

Christiana Care Hospital in Newark is currently seeking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the 4A Medical Unit.
The 4A Medical Unit is a 20-bed, long-stay unit that provides round-the-clock medical care. This unit accommodates patients who are awaiting long-term placement or have complex discharge needs.
Our patient population consists of adults aged 18 and older, and their conditions are generally stable. Patients are typically received and transferred from medical or surgical inpatient floors.

Education and Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- Eligible to be licensed in the State of Delaware.
- Previous inpatient experience is a plus.
- BLS required.
- Per the offer of employment letter, a signed commitment upon hire to obtain an RN license and then a subsequent BSN degree within the defined time frame.

Hourly Pay Range: $27.31 - $40.96This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
