This position is located at 4000 Nexus Drive in Wilmington, Delaware, with potential travel to Newark, North Wilmington, and Middletown locations.
The Cardiac Device Technician II plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by assisting in the examination and treatment of patients with cardiac implantable devices. The Cardiac Device Technician II is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and it encompasses a variety of both clinical and clerical responsibilities within the practice, highlighting the technician's multifaceted contributions to patient management and operational efficiency.

Duties / Responsibilities:
As a Cardiac Device Technician II, you will perform interrogation and documentation of data obtained by Cardiac implantable Electronic Devices (CIED), educating patients on using the latest technology, and triaging pertinent clinical data to providers for treatment plans. The Cardiac Device Technician II is involved in preparing exam/treatment rooms, recording patient vitals, performing EKGs, and assisting providers in device clinics with interrogation and troubleshooting software. The Cardiac Device Technician II assists clinicians with examinations, procedures, and implantations of ILR devices in ambulatory suites. The Cardiac Device Technician II will accurately process device remotes and triaging alerts to providers, ensuring patient-specific paperwork is completed, and handling patient call backs. The Cardiac Device Technician II manages CIED web sites, scheduling remote interrogations, and ensuring patient compliance with guideline monitoring of CIEDs. The Cardiac Device Technician II travels to sites as needed for clinic needs and maintaining clinical competency to assist physicians in implantation of ILR devices.
