We’re currently hiring a Full-Time Service Assistant I to support our Environmental Services team in delivering exceptional care and comfort to our patients, visitors, and staff.

Schedule:

Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Includes: Every other weekend and holiday rotation

What You'll Be Doing

Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in patient rooms, offices, and public areas
Ensure all carts and equipment are clean, organized, and safely stored
Restock paper and soap supplies throughout the hospital
Clean and disinfect precaution rooms following infection control protocols
Collect and dispose of trash and soiled linens
Respond promptly to Environmental Services calls and texts
Report maintenance issues to supervisors
Attend departmental training sessions
Uphold a helpful, courteous, and service-oriented attitude throughout your shift

What You Bring

Education & Experience:

High school diploma preferred
Two years of customer service experience preferred

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness
Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Commitment to confidentiality and patient privacy
Comfortable using smartphones or PDAs for job assignments

Special Requirements:

Must access email for organizational communication

Physical Demands:

Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting

Working Conditions:

Potential exposure to infectious diseases (with proper precautions)
Safety glasses must be worn at all times
