Program Manager, Procedural Platforms

Full-time - 80 hours bi-weekly

Day shift- 8 am-4:30 pm | Monday-Friday

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead the Procedural Platforms areas and initiatives to achieve AOP objectives and accreditations for Christiana and Wilmington Campuses. The selected candidate will conduct strategic planning, develop programs, and build new processes for managing flow. Also, facilitates performance improvement initiatives and optimizes resource utilization in collaboration with support areas, programs, and contracts in Procedural Platforms for efficient fiscal and human resource management.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physician, clinical, and operational leaders across Procedural Platforms to coordinate and facilitate flawless operations.

  • Support the planning process for Procedural Platforms, developing strategic plans for Perioperative Services, and HVIS.

  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new programs in partnership with the Senior Vice President Procedural Platforms, Physician Executives, Clinical Director of Operations, and their respective teams.

  • Support Business Plan Development for the successful growth of services, including analyzing financial and market reports, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation plans.

  • Lead activities aimed at improving the value of programs, ensuring high-quality care, effective utilization of resources, and cost containment.

  • Manage project planning and scheduling, lead and report on achievements and landmarks as defined in project schedules. View status considering timelines and prioritize activities as needed. Identify and communicate potential risks and mitigation plans.

  • Implement performance improvement processes and report results.

  • Support meetings as vital by preparing materials and ensuring appropriate communications before, during, and after the meeting. Develop presentations that advise in a clear, accurate manner.

  • Ensure that key constituents within Christiana Care understand and support the benefits of developing new programs and services that contribute to the broader system goals.

  • Engage and update all key collaborators who could influence or be motivated by a decision, activity, or outcome of programs and projects.

  • Act as a consultant/mentor to leadership as necessary. Develop and maintain good working relationships with all Christiana Care caregivers in various roles.

  • Develop, maintain, and update goals, policies, procedures, and standards following national guidelines and standard methodologies.

  • Develop or bring to bear existing business tools to analyze the efficiency of assigned programs, including key performance indicators and financial strength.

  • Develop relationships with crucial services to provide additional analytical, care management, information technology, and supply chain management support.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in business, Hospital, or Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years’ program/project management experience required.

  • Previous healthcare experience preferred.

  • Proven track record to drive improvement projects and interpersonal results.

  • Established history of planning, developing programs, implementing new processes, and optimizing resource usage.
