Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Critical Care

Full Time Flex - 72 hours/pay period

Day/Midnight Rotating Shifts (Hours: 7a-7p / 7p-7a)

Weekends & holidays as required

The Neuro Critical Care Unit is an 18-bed ICU on 2D focused on the care of neurological and neurosurgical patients. This includes (but is not limited to), hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke, cerebral aneurysms, brain tumors, brain and spine infections, complicated spine surgeries, hydrocephalus, neuromuscular disorders, seizures/status epilepticus, and isolated neurotrauma. We have a cohesive nursing team who serves patients with a multidisciplinary approach. The bedside nurses will have primary involvement in daily rounds. Our highly motivated nursing staff and strong preceptor group promote professionalism, education, and camaraderie.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
  • BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of the date of hire.
  • BLS Certification is required.
  • Must have at least two years of RN experience working in an ICU, step-down, or progressive care unit required
