Technical Lead – Enterprise Application Integration
OVERVIEW:

This position in a high-performance team requires strong development and architecture experience in designing, developing and monitoring customer-facing Integration services for Bath & Body Works leveraging middleware tool such as MuleSoft and Talend. The day-to-day activity will involve designing and developing new services using API Led Architecture Paradigm. There will also be some work involving monitoring and supporting changes that exist in middleware services infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone who loves to perform hands on work, tackling challenges by demonstrating integration expertise, and drive complex integration projects. The ideal candidate excels in design thinking, process definition and multi-functional communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive overall delivery of Integration solutions supporting enhancement, project or program work by phases, iteration, or sprint by partnering with project manager or designated leads.
  • Initiate and lead work focused on the design, development, and production support of integration solution using middleware technologies such as Talend, Kafka, and Cleo, on various enterprise wide projects.
  • Create overall Integration architecture for large, complex projects by aligning with the enterprise architecture.
  • Demonstrate domain expertise in designing and developing integration solution.
  • Where warranted, lead issue resolution, gap analysis, risk or other review sessions with identified groups, internal or external.
  • Mentor and train team members in operational support activities, including on-call support, and application administration activities.
Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on API led Interface development experience using various integration technologies such as MuleSoft and Talend.
  • Extensive knowledge and demonstrated use of Integration patterns integrating SAP, Salesforce, various databases, using MuleSoft and Talend.
  • Strong communication skills as this role will require collaboration with enterprise wide multi-functional and technical teams.
  • Strong experience in documenting the Interfaces Developed – in terms of design patterns used, used case and performance of the services.
  • Middleware Administration Experience – Product Installation, Services Deployment and Health Monitoring, Automation of Administration Tasks in Linux Environment is preferred.
  • 7+ years hands on experience developing interfaces using various integration technologies.
  • 5-year hands on experience in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform/Talend Enterprise Service Bus/Data Integration tech stack. Should have worked on complex transformations leveraging MuleSoft and Talend.
  • 3-year hands on experience in developing APIs using Talend API designer and ETL jobs using Talend Data Integration.
  • 2 years Core Java skills
  • Jenkins and CI-CD Pipeline experience
  • Kakfa and messaging system experience
  • Academic Qualification: 4-year degree in Information Systems plus at least 10 years work experience or master’s degree with 5 years of work experience.
